Inventory Receiving Associate

 

Teal Drones, a division of Red Cat Holdings, is looking for an experienced Inventory Receiving Associate. This role will comprise of working within our inventory and purchasing departments processing goods receipts on inbound inventory, conducting inbound quality control, storing, and kitting to production. It is important that these activities are performed on time, safely and in a professional manner respecting our quality standards.

Roles:

  • Ideal candidate will be capable of following all processing and handling procedures for materials used
  • Efficiently and accurately track all inventory movement through an ERP system
  • Conduct inbound quality control of goods, record details and reject defective materials
  • Prepare, transfer and record delivery of raw materials onto manufacturing for assembly and help ensure production needs are met
  • Contribute to process definition and documentation for receiving, quality control, inventory and purchasing departments

Responsibilities:

  • Receive inventory accurately and efficiently to minimize disruption to manufacturing processes
  • Ensure accuracy of the ERP system and general ledger accounts through detailed audits and accurate receiving and material handling practices
  • Continually contribute to develop, follow, and improve processes, procedures, and best practices in the inventory management system
  • Work closely with other team members within the company
  • Communicate with inventory leads/managers and purchasing on packing slip, invoice and material discrepancies
  • Assist with quarterly physical count and annual financial audit as needed
  • Assist in meeting production targets by delivering materials on time with accurate documentation using defined material handling rules
  • Identify faults and collaborate with others for continual processing improvements

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in controlled inventory handling
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to follow work instructions and communicate effectively, both verbal and written
  • Quality conscientious with accurate counting ability with good problem-solving skills
  • Reliable with positive attitude and willingness to work with others in fast paced environment
  • Computer skills and experiences required (Microsoft Office and ERP system)
  • Forklift or Picker experience and willingness to become certified
  • Ability to lift 50lbs regularly
